The former breakfast television host, who is partnered with professional dancer Carmelo Pizzino on the Australian reality show, said that he is very patient with her when she finds certain moves difficult.
Kennerley told the Herald Sun: "He is wonderful, an excellent dancer and has the patience of Job. But, at the end of the day, I've realised that three hours a day [rehearsing] is never going to be enough; I'm going to need to do four, five, six.
"I went home and said, 'What am I doing? It's never going to happen! It's like me doing algebra, it's not possible'. And he's said, 'Don't be ridiculous, everybody must be the same', and ignored me and carried on."

Kennerley said that after her second day of training, she started "dreaming that [she] was like some old racehorse about to be shot", adding: "I was awake all night going, 'I can't possibly do it'."
However, she did admit that things have improved since then, saying: "On Friday, we put a few steps together and for the first time I had a glimpse of, 'Oh my God, I think I just danced for four seconds'. Perhaps it will all come together. I am going to have to use every little bit of focus that I have."
Dancing with the Stars is due to start later this spring on the Seven Network.
