The 40-year-old from Adelaide, who lost 37kg during his time on the weight-loss reality series, said that he "never" thought that he would find love when he entered the competition.
Hurley and Ritherdon got together during their time in the house, but he was eliminated in last night's episode after he begged his fellow competitors to save his girlfriend and vote him out to keep her there.

He told The Daily Telegraph: "To find someone like Lisa and having gotten as close as we have here, was the last thing on my mind.
"I never would have thought this could happen, but we have very similar stories and we're going through the same journey so I guess, realistically, it was fate."
Hurley also told the Herald Sun that he would "absolutely wait" for Ritherdon to leave The Biggest Loser to continue their romance.
