The Slumdog Millionaire star will be seen in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol later this year.
Kapoor told Hindustan Times: "Everybody knows me in Hollywood - all the producers, directors and actors there know me. There is no identity crisis. They know that this guy is from Slumdog Millionaire, 24, and he was also in Mission: Impossible 4. They are like my visiting cards there.
"A lot of offers are coming my way. Now, I can sit back and choose what I want to do. After Slumdog Millionaire, I was slightly apprehensive about whether I should do something there or not. But now, I don't have to worry about that. Even if I do a film after three years, they will still have a suitable role for me.
"The respect for leading actors to do cameos and character roles is huge there. That helps me to play a lot of characters in Hollywood in a way that I can't do here."
Kapoor will next be seen starring opposite British actor Clive Owen in the film Cities.
In December, the veteran actor said that doing business in Hollywood has made him more professional.
He has also admitted that he thinks he "got lucky" with his role in Mission: Impossible 4.
