The actor was denied a new passport by authorities, delaying filming commitments on a new project being shot in Turkey, reports The Times of India.
A case of rash and negligent driving was registered against him in April 2006 following a motorbike accident.
A lower court subsequently sentenced him to 15 days' imprisonment in 2010. Abraham appealed against the decision, but a sessions court upheld the ruling earlier this year.
The Bombay High Court granted him bail after he agreed to pay a fine of 20,000 rupees. The court also suspended the 15-day jail sentence imposed upon him in 2010.
The incident occurred when Abraham was riding a Yamaha Hayabusa motorbike in the Khar area of Mumbai and skidded off the road, injuring two pedestrians.
His absence from the film shoot is reportedly costing producers 50,000rs (£70,000) a day.
Abraham recently purchased a Harley Davidson for Desi Boyz co-star Akshay Kumar.
