Farah Khan offers Sonam Kapoor a camel as a birthday gift

Farah Khan has suggested that she will give Sonam Kapoor a camel for her birthday.

Kapoor, who turns 27 today (June 9), was promised a present from the director, who is currently in Dubai.

"Happy bday 2 1 of the sweetest, nicest girls @sonamakapoor... I'm in Dubai, getting u a gift from here... A camel? (sic)" Khan posted on Twitter.

The actress received birthday greetings on the microblogging site from a number of other Bollywood stars and Hindi film figures.

Priyanka Chopra wrote: "Happy bday @sonamakapoor !! Hope u have a super year girl!!!"

Bipasha Basu posted: "Happy Happy Birthday @sonamakapoor ! Stay pretty and adorable forever! Love n a Huge Hug!"

"Happy birthday @sonamakapoor Have a super duper one," said singer Shreya Ghoshal.

Designer Manish Malhotra also sent the star a birthday greeting, writing: "@Sonamakapoor happy birthday: have a super fashionable year."

"Have a great one... happy birthday @sonamakapoor," said I Hate Luv Storys co-star Sammir Dattani.

Kapoor sent individual thank you tweets to many of her followers, also expressing her gratitude to fans for pushing the hashtag #HappyBirthdaySonam into a worldwide trending topic.

"Okay I thought I was trending in India! But u guys have made me trend worldwide!!! This is beyond anything ever!! Love love u," she wrote.
