Kemal reveals 'Pop Idol' past
His admission came after Anthony remarked that he would do well on the show.
Kemal revealed that he had applied for the second series in 2002 - when he was aged just 16 - and got through several rounds but just missed out on a place in the top 50.
"It was another accident, because my friend wanted to go on," he explained. "We just filled out forms in school and one thing led to another again."
Makosi smelled a rat, however, telling him: "As a friend, I know I've only known you for nine weeks but I think you're lying. You never did audition for Pop Idol."
"Why would I lie to you?" Kemal replied calmly.
The discussion led to several other housemates revealing their own TV pasts. Craig once appeared in a reconstruction on 999 Lifesavers while Eugene admitted to making an unpopular comment about female drivers on a discussion show.
"Are you going to go into acting after this, Makosi?" asked Craig. "You could be an actress if you wanted to be. You can perform."
Laughing off his dig, she turned down the idea, instead setting her sights on June Sarpong's job.
