The Voice UK

The Voice UK series 4 coaches

Based on the international hit format, The Voice UK features singers auditioning for an all-star coaching lineup in spinning chairs, judging only on vocal ability. Each coach mentors a team of artists through a number of head-to-head elimination rounds and live shows, hoping that one of their acts will win a record deal with Universal.

Leanne Mitchell, Andrea Begley and Jermain Jackman are the three series winners to date, while series 1 semi-finalist Becky Hill was the first Voice contestant to attain a number one hit with 'Gecko (Overdrive)', her collaboration with Oliver Heldens.

Original coaches will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones have been joined by Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson (returning for a second series) and The Voice newcomer Rita Ora in 2015. Emma Willis and former JLS member Marvin Humes will host proceedings on BBC One.
