Alesha Dixon

First finding fame in British pop group Mis-Teeq in the early '00s, Dixon had a period of instability and was dropped by her record company. Her career was revitalised when she appeared on BBC talent show Strictly Come Dancing in 2005.

She went on to release a second solo album that had big success with the track 'The Boy Does Nothing'. In 2012, she was freed from her Strictly contract and allowed to judge on opposing ITV show Britain's Got Talent alongside Simon Cowell.
