Barack Obama is the 44th and incumbent President of the United States. He won over John McCain in the 2008 election, after beating out Hilary Clinton in a closely fought contest for the democratic nomination. He is married to Michelle Obama and they have two daughters.
Some of Obama's notable actions since becoming President include ordering the attack that killed Osama Bin Laden, repealing Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and extensive health care reform. In 2012, he became the first sitting U.S. President to publicly declare support for same-sex marriage.
