Beyoncé Knowles first appeared on the music scene in the late '90s as a member of Destiny's Child, one of the biggest selling girl-groups of all time. In 2003, Knowles launched her solo career with smash hit single 'Crazy In Love', beginning a career that would win her 12 top 10 hits in the Billboard Top 100, 11 top 10 hits in the UK, 13 solo Grammy awards and the title of most successful female artist of the 2000s. Knowles has also appeared in several high profile films, most notably Austin Powers In Goldmember and The Pink Panther, all the while maintaining a successful longterm relationship with rapper Jay-Z, whom she married in April 2008. The two welcomed their first child Blue Ivy Carter in January 2012.
