Calvin Harris

Calvin Harris is a Scottish DJ, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Harris' first album, 'I Created Disco', was released in June 2007 and spurned the top ten singles 'Acceptable in the 80s' and 'The Girls'.



Harris' second album 'Ready for the Weekend' debuted at number one on the UK Album Charts. The first single released 'I'm Not Alone' went to number one and the follow up 'Ready for the Weekend' went to number three.

Harris has collaborated and produced with many artists. In 2008, Harris collaborated with rapper Dizzee Rascal on his single 'Dance wiv Me', producing the track and singing the hook. In 2011 he produced and wrote Rihanna's hit single 'We Found Love.'And in 2012 he wrote and produced Cheryl Cole's comeback single 'Call My Name.'

Harris' real name is Adam Richard Wiles. His third album is due to be released in October 2012.
