Chris Hemsworth
Born in Melbourne, Chris Hemsworth began his acting career in the very popular Australian soap Neighbours playing Kym Hyde. Although Chris was born in Melbourne, he was raised both there and in the Outback community of Bulman which he recognises as very different walks of life. In 2009, he had his first major role playing Lieutenant Commander George Kirk, the father of James T. Kirk, in Star Trek. He best known for his role as the Marvel Comics superhero Thor in the 2011 film Thor. In 2012, he reprised his role as Thor for . Also in 2012 he starred alongside Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron as the Huntsman in Snow White and the Huntsman as well as starring in horror film The Cabin in the Woods. He is married to actress Elsa Pataky and the couple have one daughter together.
