Rita Ora
Rita Ora is a singer-songwriter and actress who grew up in West London. Her biggest hits in the UK have been 'Hot Right Now' with DJ Fresh and 'R.I.P'. Born in Kosovo, Rita moved to the UK in the same year as her birth. She began singing at a young age and nurtured her talents at Sylvia Young Theatre School. She auditioned for the BBC's Eurovision:Your Country Needs You in 2009 but pulled out of the contest due to not feeling ready. This move worked in her favour. She began singing in bars in London and was one day spotted by Jay-Z's record label Roc Nation. A few days after she flew out to New York and met Jay-Z himself. He signed her to his label and also featured her in an advertising campaign for Skullcandy headphones.
