Founded by the creative team behind Call of Duty, Respawn Entertainment is rumoured to be a space-based first-person shooter, which has been given a blurry screenshot.
Respawn Entertainment's logo, company brief and a series of job listings were also revealed on the website.
"Respawn Entertainment is an independent video game development studio focusing on creating state-of-the-art gaming experiences for global audiences," read the brief.
"Respawn is developing a multi-platform product based on new video game IP and funded through its publishing deal with Electronic Arts, one of the top publishers in the industry."
Respawn Entertainment was formed in April 2010 by Jason West and Vince Zampella, after they were removed from Infinity Ward by Activision for alleged "insubordination".
The two parties have since been locked in a legal battle, which now involves publisher Electronic Arts, who is being sued by Activision for $400 million.
