The video shows gameplay footage of the marines fighting aliens in dark, atmospheric environments.
Recently delayed until this autumn, Aliens: Colonial Marines features a four-player co-operative campaign and enemies brand new to the Alien canon.
Speaking with PlayStation Blog, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford recently said that multiplayer will be as big a focus as the campaign and is "getting a huge amount of attention".
The game will also focus on "gritty realism" in its action, though Pitchford laments it is difficult to show that through the game's promotional footage.
Set 11 months after the events of the second movie, it will see Marines crash-land on LV-426 and attempt to survive against the Xenomorph population.
Publisher SEGA has told Digital Spy that it was great to work with Fox on the Aliens sequel.
Aliens: Colonial Marines will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
