'Theatrhythm Final Fantasy' release date announced for Europe

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy has been given a release date.

The Nintendo 3DS title will be available across Europe from July 6, and was previously confirmed for a July 3 release in North America.



Customers who pre-order the game will receive a special themed stylus that can be customised with stickers of Cloud, Moogle, Lightning, Chocobo, Tidus, Cecil, Terra, Squall and more.

Released in February in Japan, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy merges the rhythm genre with battle scenes, where players must tap the stylus alongside on-screen prompts in order to fight.

It features 70 songs across all Final Fantasy titles, as well as characters including Cloud and Lightning from Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy XIII respectively.
