The first footage of the shooter sequel was shown during the NBA playoffs in the US, showcasing the all-new near-future setting and equipment available to players.
Revealed yesterday, Black Ops 2 is set during a 21st Century Cold War and will release on November 13 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
"Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare," read the official announcement.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 multiplayer details were allegedly revealed in a leaked report last month.
The game will reportedly feature a brand new mode called Escort, and contain a new perks system and a fully integrated Elite mode.
Earlier this year, the conclusion of the original Call of Duty: Black Ops was voted the greatest game ending of all time by Guinness World Records readers.
