Black Ops 2 looks "tired", according to an EA representative.

Global product manager Kevin O'Leary said Activision's Call of Duty franchise should take a year's break.

"Poor #blackops2, you look tired, you should take a year off and rest," he wrote on his personal Twitter account.

He later added: "Excited about the FPS competition & E3 this year. Medal of Honor Warfighter, Battlefield 3, Frostbite 2...FTW #MOH #BF3 #BlackOps2."

EA is to release shooter sequel Medal of Honor Warfighter three weeks ahead of Black Ops 2's November 13 release date.

Unveiled earlier this week, Black Ops 2 is set during a 21st century Cold War and will release on November 13 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

The game's first trailer has revealed that the campaign will feature usable drones and horses, as well as a robot enemy force to fight in a devastated Los Angeles.

Yesterday, it was revealed that the popular Zombies mode will make a return and that the game will feature a branching storyline.

Its story, meanwhile, will be penned by Dark Knight co-writer David Goyer, who is also involved in the upcoming Man of Steel reboot.
