Remedy's creative director Sam Lake tweeted about the sequel, suggesting that it will take place in a town called Ordinary.

"It's all true. 'It will happen again, in another town, a town called Ordinary.' It's happening now," Lake tweeted.
He also linked to a blog full of poems and photographs, written by a woman named Samantha.
An Alan Wake 2 web domain has also been registered, suggesting that an announcement is imminent.
A spinoff called Alan Wake's American Nightmare released on Xbox Live Arcade back in February of this year, along with the original Alan Wake's debut on PC.
