The US rap star has penned a track for the upcoming game, titled 'Knocc 'Em Down'.
He will also appear as a non-playable character in The Snoop Dogg Stage, which will be available as a pre-order bonus.
"I've been a fan of Tekken since the '90s so I'm excited to have made 'Knocc 'Em Down' for the game's soundtrack," revealed Snoop Dogg.
"The game's got a special stage featuring yours truly sittin' high above and watching the action take place.
"All you Tekken Tag Tournament 2 fans better get ready to experience kickin' ass on Tha Boss Dogg's stage with my new song banging in the background. What more could you ask for?"
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is a console port of the arcade game with an expanded character roster and new game modes.
New game modes include one-on-one, two-on-one and two-on-two matches, the last of which allows up to four players to each control their own character fighting on separate planes.
Fight Lab mode will also be added, which will act as a practice arena for both beginner and advanced players to complete various challenges against customisable computer opponents.
Four additional fighters will be available as pre-order DLC, with Michelle Chang and Angel exclusive to ShopTo, and Ancient Ogre and Kunimitsu to Zavvi. The special We are Tekken collectors' edition bundle will be exclusive to GAME.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 14.
