The game returns to the artistically unique world of Zenozoink, as Ghat and his sister embark on a new story across the bizarre landscape.
While the first Zeno Clash took players through a series of levels, the sequel will feature a full open world to explore the world's visually rich architecture, set pieces and characters.
It will see a return of the first game's signature first-person brawling combat with improvements for pinpoint punching control, as well as new weapons to wield. Players will also be able to experience the whole game with a friend using drop-in drop-out co-operative play for two players.
The first Zeno Clash was released on PC in 2009 followed by Xbox Live Arcade in 2010 as Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition. ACE Team then went on to develop Rock of Ages, which released last year.
Zeno Clash 2 will be available on PC, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network in early 2013.
