'Modern Warfare 3' Terminal map release date announced

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's Terminal map has received a release date.

The map will be available first on Xbox 360 from Tuesday, July 17 for Call of Duty: Elite subscribers and from Wednesday, July 18 for non-subscribers.

Release dates for PlayStation 3 and PC will be announced in due course.

Terminal was introduced in Modern Warfare 2 based on the single-player campaign 'No Russian' mission.

It will be available as a free download for Modern Warfare 3, and is being considered as a bonus separate from the Call of Duty: Elite content calendar.

Another classic Call of Duty map, Nuketown, was recently revealed as a pre-order bonus for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
