A new trailer was released for the Wii U version, showing off new Nintendo-themed costumes including Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Link, Zelda, Samus, and Fox McCloud.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition is a console port of the arcade game with an expanded character roster and new game modes, including one-on-one, two-on-one and two-on-two matches, the last of which allows up to four players to control their own character fighting on separate planes.
In addition to new costumes, the Wii U port will feature the new Mushroom Battle mode, where fighters will grow and shrink as they collect Mario's signature mushrooms throughout the match.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition does not have an official release date yet, but will be available during the Wii U launch window.
Announced yesterday, the Wii U will launch on November 18 in North America and November 30 in Europe with a basic model and Premium bundle.
