Game of Thrones Ascent is set alongside the books and TV series and sees players lead the life of a noble, swearing allegiances to houses during the time of conflict.
Combining strategy with storyline, the game tasks players with securing holdings, increasing lands, enhancing their reputation and sending swords into battle.
It will be developed by Disruptor Beam, which plans to launch a beta testing program prior to the game's launch.
"Everyone at Disruptor Beam was a huge fan of Game of Thrones long before we began working on the game, so we recognise that other fans expect character-driven conflict and intrigue to take centre stage in our new game," explained Disruptor Beam's Jon Radoff.
"Westeros is the perfect setting to deliver on our vision of weaving stories through decisions and social interactions.
"Game of Thrones Ascent will bring the world of Westeros to the over 500 million social game players in the market today, featuring original artwork in a highly engaging game experience that is, most importantly, fun for fans and their friends!"
An Xbox 360, PS3 and PC Game of Thrones adventure will be released in the UK on June 8.
It is set alongside the events of the first book, and features two original playable characters and a choice-driven story.
The role-playing game promises to be an over 30-hour long adventure taking players across Westeros to locations from the series including King's Landing, the Wall in the North and the waterside town of Riverspring.
The Game of Thrones game was released in the US earlier this month.
