Stuart MacGill has left his Triple M radio show.
The former Australian cricketer, who made up The Grill Team alongside Gus Worland and Mark Geyer, was reportedly forced to quit after his relationship with his co-hosts deteriorated.
MacGill's manager Leo Karis told The Daily Telegraph: "After discussions with Triple M management, Stuart decided not to renew his contract for 2011. Stuart loved working at Triple M and with some of the people he worked, will remain close friends."
An industry insider said of MacGill: "He just wasn't right for the mix. He was a bit too prickly and the relationship became difficult."
Seven News sports presenter Tony Squires has been temporarily brought in to replace MacGill.
