Ray Hadley takes work break to save marriage

By
Ray Hadley has taken a break from his job.

The Australian radio personality, who is best known as a regular presenter on 2GB's morning show, has decided to have two weeks off work in order to spend some quality time with his US-born wife Suzanne.

The couple, who have two daughters Emma and Sarah together, split earlier this year after almost 20 years of marriage but are now believed to be working on their relationship during a visit to her parents in America.

Hadley, who is famous for often saying "happy wife, happy life", has also cut back to six days a week at the radio station in a bid to save his marriage.

Earlier this year, the couple released a statement saying: "We have decided to amicably part. Our major concern at this stage is our family and we ask that our privacy in this matter be respected."

Hadley was also forced to deny rumors of a rift with host Ben Fordham when he joined 2GB. "I'm very happy to have him here at 2GB," he said earlier this year. "He is a hard-working young man and I'm sure he'll do well."
