Mark Wahlberg: 'Justin Bieber basketball film was intuitive'

Mark Wahlberg has said that his "intuition" was what led him to seek out a film project with Justin Bieber.

The Contraband actor, who is currently planning to star in a basketball drama with Bieber, said that the collaboration seemed a natural choice.

"I'm pretty intuitive. I see the guy and spent time with him, and you see what he does and how he does it, and then you actually have a conversation with him, and it's there," Wahlberg explained to MTV News.

Wahlberg went on to say that he believes Bieber has plenty of acting talent, adding: "It's there - and if not, I will extract it."

He has previously claimed that he would make music with Bieber as his daughter is a big fan of the 17-year-old singer.

Wahlberg later joked that his 7-year-old was upset upon discovering that Bieber is dating Selena Gomez and tore photos of herself meeting the 'Mistletoe' singer off the walls of her bedroom.
