The Tribeca Film Festival will kick off on April 18 with The Five-Year Engagement starring Jason Segel and Emily Blunt.

The Avengers, which is directed by Joss Whedon, features a star-studded cast including Robert Downey Jr, Samuel L Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo and Tom Hiddleston.

Whedon previously shared to Digital Spy that there were no egos on the set of The Avengers.

"The Avengers was the most ego-free set that I can remember being on," Whedon revealed. "They were all in it to play, to help each other, they were having a great time, there was a lot of trust. That's something one works hard at."

The Avengers (titled Marvel Avengers Assemble in the UK) hits UK cinemas on April 26.
