In Madea's Witness Protection, Aunt Madea's southern home is used as a temporary shelter for a Wall Street banker (Eugene Levy) and his family. The banker is set up for a Ponzi scheme and relocates his family under the witness protection programme.
Madea's Witness Protection is written, directed and produced by Perry, who also portrays Madea in the movies.
The comedy also stars Denise Richards, Romeo Miller, Doris Roberts and Tom Arnold.
Last year, Perry defended his decision to add Kim Kardashian to the cast of his next film The Marriage Counsellor because he wanted to attract a younger audience.
"I thought, and still do think, that it would be very responsible of her to be a part of this film," Perry explained. "To have the young people that look up to her, see her in a film that is about what happens in life when you make the wrong choices."
Perry praised Kardashian for her performance in the movie, in which she plays a young woman struggling with her many personal problems.
Madea's Witness Protection will open to theatres on June 29 in the US.
