Penned by Floyd Byars, Graham is set to portray a chef with dreams of hosting a Food Channel show, while Moss will play her neighbour, an "embittered former child star", reports Deadline.
Both females are described as "fearless", except while Graham's character "fears nothing in life", Moss's character "fears nothing about death".
Compulsion also stars Entourage's Kevin Dillon and The Starter Wife's Joe Mantegna.
The indie film is directed by Egidio Coccimiglio, and Gary Howsam and Bill Marks serve as producers.
Graham previously starred in The Hangover but did not reprise her role as Jade in the sequel.
"I guess I thought it would have been romantic if [Stu and Jade] had ended up together, but that wasn't their way of thinking," she said of her absence from the follow-up. "I look at it from the positive that it really was fun to be in the first one."
