A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas director Todd Strauss-Schulson will bring the Oni Press graphic novel to the big screen, based on a screenplay by Matt Fogel.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner is planning to develop a live-action/CGI hybrid based on Brendan Hay and Justin Wagner's book, which parodies the studio's Looney Tunes creations.
Rascal Raccoon's Raging Revenge, released in 2011, tells the story of a toon who embarks on a quest to kill the animator who created him.
Eric Gitter will produce under Oni's production banner Closed on Mondays, while Strauss-Schulson's production partner Ken Franchi will oversee the project via the duo's Ulterior Productions. Joe Nozemack and Noah Greenshner also have production credits.
Rascal Raccoon's Raging Revenge is yet to be assigned a release date.
