The upcoming film follows four friends of retirement age who reunite in Las Vegas for a bachelor party for the only friend who stayed single, reports Deadline.
Michael Douglas and Robert De Niro are already cast in the movie, with Jon Turteltaub attached as the director.
Freeman previously starred in RED and played Nelson Mandela in Invictus, for which he was nominated for a 'Best Actor' award at the Oscars.
The 74-year-old can be next seen reprising his role as Lucius Fox in The Dark Knight Rises.
The Dark Knight Rises opens to cinemas on June 20 in the US and the UK.
