Stars including
Johnny Depp, Emma Stone, Kristen Stewart and Channing Tatum turned out for this year's MTV Movie Awards, which was dominated by
The Hunger Games,
Twilight and
Harry Potter.
Depp took to the stage with The Black Keys to play guitar as he was honoured with the network's 'Generation Award', while
Stewart teased her Snow White and the Huntsman co-star Chris Hemsworth during the ceremony.
Elizabeth Banks was treated to a warm reception from the stars of
Magic Mike, while host Russell Brand kept a handle on proceedings - managing to find time to insult Justin Bieber,
hit on Michael Fassbender and salute Queen Elizabeth II.
