The actor, who plays a conniving strip club owner in Magic Mike, told USA Today that he wanted to be just as toned as co-stars Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer.

"You wanna see a guy get in shape, tell him his [butt] is going to be 40-foot-high on a screen," McConaughey quipped.
He went on to say: "[Magic Mike is] me doing everything with the spray tans and all. It's going to be a hoot [for audiences]!"
Tatum previously shared a less favourable view of stripping in Magic Mike when he compared himself to "a fool in a stupid outfit".
Magic Mike opens on June 29 in the US and July 11 in the UK.
