'Spider-Man': Marvel superhero movies in pictures

Spider-Man made his big screen debut 10 years ago, with Tobey Maguire slipping into the role of high schooler-turned-superhero Peter Parker.

Sam Raimi's trilogy proved to be a blockbuster smash, as Peter's romance with Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst) and Stan Lee's "with great power comes great responsibility" mantra taking centre stage.
