Borgnine's 60-year Hollywood career saw him garner more than 200 screen credits across film and television. He won an Academy Award in 1956 for Marty, in which he played a butcher who falls for a school teacher.
He continued to work well into his 90s, winning an Emmy nomination for his guest stint in ER and appearing recently in the ensemble action film Red.
