The film's star and producer Channing Tatum recently told Digital Spy that he is planning Magic Mike 2, and McConaughey is keen to reprise his role as club owner Dallas.
"I'm talking to Channing [Tatum] about that," McConaughey told Vulture. "Let's get some more Dallas in there. Just stick with Dallas."
Tatum and director Steven Soderbergh are also developing a Broadway adaptation of the film.
