Chris Evans is set to reprise his role as the Marvel superhero in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, though former love interest Hayley Atwell will not be returning.

A new love interest for the Steve Rogers character is rumoured to be Sharon Carter, a SHIELD agent and descendant of Atwell's character from the first Captain America movie.
The New York Post reports that executives are currently considering Kendrick, Poots and Jones for the coveted role.
Kendrick is best known for roles in Up in the Air and 50/50, while Jones recently starred in the critically-acclaimed Like Crazy opposite Anton Yelchin. Imogen Poots also starred alongside Yelchin in the horror comedy Fright Night.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is set for release on April 4, 2014.
