The singer admitted that she loved the video treatment for her number one single 'We Found Love', but then realised she had to live up to the part.
The 23-year-old confessed: "I was so nervous about this video. I loved the treatment, but then I had to play the part.
"I was like, 'I love this, but now I have to be that person in the video!' So, it's fun and I'm definitely getting a lot of practice at acting."
Speaking in a second behind-the-scenes clip she has released online, Rihanna also expressed her disbelief at the number of fans who turned up on the set of the video shoot in Belfast last month.
The footage then sees Rihanna and her rumoured boyfriend Dudley O'Shaughnessy performing 'donuts' in a retro car, which she described as "a lot of fun".
The official video for 'We Found Love' premiered worldwide last week.
The single is the first to be lifted from Rihanna's forthcoming album Talk That Talk, which will be released on November 21 in the UK and November 22 in the US.
