Other musicians taking part in the campaign include John Butler, The Living End frontman Chris Cheney, Ricki-Lee Coulter, Shannon Noll, Kate Miller-Heidke and James Reyne.

Support Act ambassador Josh Pyke told The Daily Telegraph: "Not everyone in the music industry is able to lead a comfortable life when the music stops playing."

The Support Act campaign was set up by music manager John Woodruff, who was responsible for launching Savage Garden's careers.

All the adverts are published at www.supportact.com.au.
