One Direction: 'We will not be changing our name'

One Direction have vowed to keep their name in the US.

The band are currently facing a legal challenge from an American boyband also called One Direction over the usage of the name in the States.



Asked if they are considering a new name, The Sun quotes Harry Styles and Zayn Malik as both responding with a "no".

Malik added: "We don't know [what will happen] but we're not changing our name."

Meanwhile, the US band named One Direction revealed that they have received death threats and hate mail since they launched the lawsuit.
