Documents filed at Companies House for the year ending last August reveal that the singer accumulated a £20,000 loss in one of her businesses.
Despite the worldwide success of Jessie J's debut album Who You Are and her single 'Price Tag', her touring company fell into the red after she had to cancel a string of dates due to breaking her foot.
The star had £360k in the account of her Who You Are Touring firm and was owed £210k. However, she had to pay creditors £590k, meaning she made a loss.
Her other company Who You Are Ltd indicates that it only made £387 after all costs were paid.
"Jessie's first-year figures aren't great but quite often royalties from sales and radio play take a while to come through," a source told The Sun.
"Until last summer, she had played mostly relatively small gigs and been hampered by a leg injury.
"But these days Jessie has deals with drink firm Vitamin Water and MasterCard, plus her fees from this year's number one single 'Domino' and her work on The Voice have delivered serious boosts to her bank balance."
Jessie J has reportedly held a meeting with BBC One controller Danny Cohen regarding her future on The Voice UK after she allegedly snubbed him last week.
