Justin Bieber announces 47-date North American tour

Justin Bieber has announced the first dates for his upcoming world tour.

The singer will play 47 dates across North America in support of his forthcoming third studio album Believe.

The jaunt will begin at the Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Arizona on September 29 and finish up at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida on January 26.

Bieber has previously confirmed that he will be touring more dates outside America, in what will be his second arena tour across the globe.

The star's first jaunt - called the 'My World Tour' - made a total of $53,341,886 (£33.9m) worldwide during it's run between June 2010 and October 2011.

Tickets for Justin Bieber's 'Believe World Tour' go on sale from June 2. An exclusive pre-sale for certain credit card brands will be available from May 24.
