Labrinth: 'Treatment' - Single review

When Labrinth told us almost exactly two years ago that he wanted his debut album to have "something for everyone", he certainly wasn't kidding. Thus far from Electronic Earth, we've had gospel-pop in the form of 'Let The Sun Shine', grimey dubstep on 'Earthquake', electropop on 'Last Time' and vibrant soul on 'Express Yourself'.

No surprise he's changed tack again for the LP's latest cut, which sees him try his hand at the often-tricky stadium anthem. "I wanna break down/ You don't understand the damage you've done" he confesses about a difficult breakup over spacious synths, teeing him up nicely for an explosive chorus of crashing drums and wild rawk guitars. The result, for the fifth time in a row, hits the nail on the head.
