Misha B: 'Do You Think Of Me' - Single review

It's crazy to think that Misha B didn't even make the X Factor final at Wembley Arena last year. Luckily, judging panel politics and some unfortunate press attention failed to dampen the Mancunian's ambition and she promptly began turning her own original songs into chart-tailored anthems - and after hearing her new single, we couldn't be more grateful.

"Every time the night falls down/ Do you wonder what I'm doing now?" she poignantly asks her birth mother over sky-soaring, TMS-produced beats and synths that land her somewhere between Robin S and The Lion King. It's refreshing to hear an artist spill their guts over a stomping club-thumper rather than the usual dancefloor and DJ antics; the result is a euphoric urban paean that places Misha as one of the most exciting acts ever to have come out of a talent competition.
