Father shoots daughter's laptop after Facebook rant - video
North Carolina resident Tommy Jordan uploaded the video titled 'Facebook Parenting: for the troubled teen' to YouTube, in which he comments about his 15-year-old daughter's Facebook post about her parents.
Jordan says: "This is for my daughter, Hannah, and more importantly for all her friends on Facebook who thought her little rebellious post was cute."
Whilst wearing a cowboy hat and smoking a cigarette, he angrily reads out her Facebook post about her chores, to which he responds: "Pay you for chores? Are you out of your mind? You don't have that hard a life but you're about to."
He then picks up his camera and points it at her laptop on the ground. "That right there is your laptop," he says. "This right here is my .45." He then proceeds to pump her computer full of bullets.
He briefly says: "You have to pay me back for these too because these are about a dollar apiece."
The video has risen to viral status since its upload on February 8, reaching over 14 million views on YouTube. It has sparked a debate over Jordan's tough parenting style, with over 13,000 'dislikes'.
However, most viewers appear to approve of Jordan's actions, as it has received over 170,000 'likes'.
