Football fans on Twitter noticed that opposition defender Warren Barton was showing more than he intended when sliding in for a tackle.
We've saved Barton's modesty with a cockerel borrowed from Samways's shirt, but screengrabs of the uncensored image are still circulating on social networking websites.
As the link was shared around the web, the Barclays site - quick as a flash - took down the offending image, replacing it with a placeholder showing a ghostly cut-out.
By then though, the damage had obviously been done.
Barton currently works for Fox Soccer in the US and is a keen Twitter user himself, but is yet to comment on the picture.
