BAFTA



Formed in 1947 with headquarters on Piccadilly in central London, BAFTA is an independent charity which "supports, promotes and develops the art forms of the moving image".

BAFTA honours outstanding achievement in film, TV and gaming with annual awards ceremonies each year. 2015's key awards ceremony timetable is as follows:

February 8: EE BAFTA Film Awards, hosted by Stephen Fry;
March 12: BAFTA Games Awards;
April 26: BAFTA TV Craft Awards;
May 11: Arqiva British Academy Television Awards.
