The Australian television star, who is best known as the host for morning show Sunrise, said that despite what people think, she is "no different" to any other busy mum.
Doyle told New Idea magazine: "You see me for three hours when I'm on the ball, I'm fully made up and wearing lovely clothes. You don't see the crazy pants at 5 o'clock when the kids are having a tantrum.
"I am no different to any working mother. I get tired, I get cranky, I could probably be healthier, and I probably could do so many things better and differently but I am doing the best I can.
"Every week is different. Some weeks it's great and everything works. Other weeks, it all goes to trollop... and I wish I could have a holiday. But I think we all go through that."
Doyle also revealed that she could not "get up every morning" if it wasn't for the "support" of her husband John.
