Amanda Bynes 'drives away from police traffic stop'

Amanda Bynes allegedly drove away from a police officer after a traffic stop in Los Angeles.

The She's the Man actress was pulled over for talking on her cell phone while driving, claims TMZ.

However, while the officer was issuing her ticket after collecting her information, she reportedly decided to drive away from the scene.

The police officer apparently decided not to follow her as he had already collected her details and felt that she would not be a threat to others.

Bynes later stopped by a police station to sign the ticket, but was told that she may face charges over leaving the scene early.

Amanda Bynes announced that she had retired from acting back in 2010, but soon after explained that she was merely taking a break.
